SupaSLIP
Anti-friction/anti-wear additive for oils and hydraulic fluids. 200% money back product performance guarantee.
This Eco-Friendly product will do the following without harm to your engine or equipment:
- Reduce Friction between moving components
- Lessen Wear, giving longer component life
- Increase Power from the same amount of fuel
- Reduce Fuel consumption
- Give Quieter running
- Give Cooler running
- Smooth gear operation, including in automatics
- Give Less likely mechanical seizure
- Give Internal rust protection
SupaSLIP is suitable for use in mineral oils, synthetic oil and hydraulic fluids. Do not use in brake fluids.
How to prevent engine and machinery seizures:
SupaSLIP in engine oil resists up to 5.7 times more loading, plus over 20 times the loading duration without seize-up, compared with oil alone .. a huge benefit if your engine breaks a cooling fan belt, or suddenly runs out of coolant due to a burst hose, or suddenly drops oil pressure due to a blockage or worse by puncturing the oil sump on rough terrain.
SupaSLIP is available in 1 litre and 250ml easy to use “squeeze-measure-pour” packs .. 250ml treats 25-50L of oil, or 100L hydraulic fluid.
Falex Test .. an International Testing Benchmark:
Falex Tests on SupaSLIP:
The Falex Test is an internationally accepted procedure, which is used by lubricant manufacturers and should not be confused with the various test machines demonstrated at field days and the like.
The Falex Test has demonstrated that the active chemical in SupaSLIP dramatically raised the load carrying ability of the base oil. The SupaSLIP active ingredient proved far superior to the ZDDP additive, which is used almost universally by major oil blenders. Perhaps the most interesting aspect is that the torque required to maintain comparable loadings on the Falex Test, was substantially less using the SupaSLIP active ingredient compared to ZDDP. This clearly demonstrates reduced frictional losses and consequent fuel economy.
Other Falex Tests on SupaSLIP indicated reductions in bearing temperature from 218C to 149C .. a huge 69C drop. Further dramatic evidence of lower friction!
Accompanying lower friction and higher load carrying ability is a benefit in reduced wear. Comparing practical doses of ZDDP and SupaSLIP, wear (as measured by weight loss) with SupaSLIP was a mere fraction of that recorded with ZDDP and unlike in the ZDDP test, the SupaSLIP test was completed without seizure of the test components!
1) Falex Test .. Temperature Reduction:
At a load of 1500lbs with base oil alone, the pin and bush seized before 60 minutes (bush temperature 218 degrees C) .. with added SupaSLIP the pin and bush continued to operate after 60 minutes (bush temperature 149 degrees C) .. bush operating temperature reduced by 69 degrees C !
2) Falex Test .. Maximum Load before seizing:
(i) Turbine oil. The load before seizing of base oil was 675lbs .. with added SupaSLIP 3,850lbs .. that’s 5.7 times more load. At a load of 1500lbs, the base oil seized in 3 minutes .. with added SupaSLIP there was no seizing at 60 minutes test duration .. that’s at least 20 times the duration. In other words, adding SupaSLIP prevented seizing to nearly 6 times the load .. and over 20 times the duration!
(ii) Engine oil 10W-30. The load before seizing of base oil was 1325lbs .. with added “conventional” ZDDP anti-friction 2050lbs .. with added SupaSLIP 4500lbs without seizing at 60 minutes test duration. That’s over 3.4 times more load capacity with SupaSLIP.
(iii) Diameter of Wear Scars. 10W-30 base oil 2.1mm .. with added “conventional” ZDDP anti-friction 1.9mm .. with added SupaSLIP only 1.5mm.
3) Falex Test .. Fuel / Energy Savings:
In test 2) (ii) above, the torque required at maximum loads was 24, 36 and 46 lb-in respectively. Dividing the torque by the maximum load gives a “frictional factor” of 0.018, 0.017 and 0.010 respectively .. that is adding SupaSLIP reduced frictional losses by a huge 44%.
An internal combustion engine may lose 20% of its power to internal friction .. if this was cut by 44%, a fuel saving of over 8% would result. Field experiences with SupaSLIP have delivered fuel savings of up to 8%.
SupaSLIP DIRECTIONS for USE:
Engine oils, including 2 stroke oil+petrol mix .. add 5ml/L of oil.
Manual Gearboxes, Final Drives and Differentials .. add 10ml/L of oil.
General Hydraulics including Auto-Transmissions, Power Steering, .. add 2.5ml/L of fluid.
NOTE: Do NOT use in friction drives .. if SupaSLIP is used in the wrong application, change the oil to remedy. Weaker or worn limited-slip-differentials may lose some capability due to the friction reduction.
